  • To take advantage of the growth potential of the stockmarket the account will invest mainly in shares. This means its value can fall as well as rise and your child may not get back all the money paid in.

  • You, your family and friends can top up your child's account at any time from as little as £10 by:
  • Only the child can access the money in the account and only when they are 18.
  • Expert fund management - your child's savings will be managed by New Star, one of the UK's leading asset management companies.
  • Set up a regular Direct Debit when applying and receive a gift.
  • Track performance - Family Investments will send you an annual statement so you can track how the account is performing. You can also call for an up-to-date valuation.
